Join Us for the Grand Opening of The Altered Thread
You are invited to celebrate the grand opening of The Altered Thread with our special event: "Shuta, Chai & Celebration." ("Shuta" is the Bangla word for thread ).
This event is a celebration of craftsmanship and Bangladeshi heritage, positioning the shop as an elegant, interactive, and informative space.
Event Atmosphere The atmosphere will be sophisticated yet culturally specific. Guests will be welcomed with an elegant sign featuring the Bangla phrase "আপনাদের সবাইকে স্বাগতম" (Shagotom), meaning "Welcome to all". The space will be decorated with elegant garlands of marigolds (gada phool) and filled with the sounds of a curated playlist of modern Bengali instrumental or fusion music, such as from Coke Studio Bangla.
