ABOUT THE COURSE
Where beginner skills become real garments.
Sewing 102 is the natural next step after Sewing 101. This intermediate course moves beyond foundational techniques and into full garment construction. Over six sessions, students will draft a custom bodice sloper from their own measurements, construct a skirt, and combine both into a finished dress with set sleeves. You leave with a garment you made from scratch — and the pattern knowledge to make it again.

STUDENT POLICY
What you need to know before enrolling.
01
Registration & Payment
Course fees are non-refundable once the 6-week term begins. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the start date are eligible for a full refund. A 2-payment plan ($210 × 2) is available — contact us before enrolling to arrange. Prerequisite: Sewing 101 or demonstrated equivalent experience.
02
Attendance
Sewing 102 is a sequential course — each session builds directly on the prior week's work. Consistent attendance is essential to completing your final garment. We cannot offer makeup sessions for missed classes. If you miss a week, contact the instructor to discuss what you can review before the next session.
03
Materials & Equipment
All industrial sewing machines are provided by the studio. Students are responsible for muslin fabric for the mock-up fitting stage, fashion fabric for the final garment, and basic tools (scissors, measuring tape, pins). A complete materials list with fabric recommendations and estimated yardage is provided upon registration.
04
Studio Safety
You will be working on professional-grade industrial equipment. All students must follow the step-by-step safety guidance provided by the instructor at all times throughout the course. A standard liability waiver is signed at the first session.
