ABOUT THE COURSE
The skill that makes everything fit.
Garment fitting is one of the most practical and in-demand skills in sewing — and one of the hardest to learn without direct instruction. This intensive 5-week course teaches you how to read fit on a live body, diagnose what needs to change, and execute those adjustments cleanly and professionally. Whether you want to rework pieces in your own wardrobe or build toward professional alterations work, this course gives you the hands-on repetition you need to develop real confidence with fit.

STUDENT POLICY
What you need to know before enrolling.
01
Registration & Payment
Course fees are non-refundable once the 5-week term begins. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the start date are eligible for a full refund. A 2-payment plan ($262.50 × 2) is available — contact us before enrolling to arrange. Sewing 101 is recommended but not strictly required; students should have basic comfort operating a sewing machine before enrolling.
02
Attendance
Each session in this course is built around hands-on fitting practice — the feedback and repetition you receive in class cannot be replicated at home. Missing a session will directly impact your ability to develop the muscle memory this course is designed to build. We cannot offer makeup sessions for missed classes. If you miss a week, contact the instructor immediately to discuss how to prepare for the following session.
03
Materials & Equipment
All industrial sewing machines are provided by the studio. Students are responsible for bringing their own garments to practice on — 2 to 3 pieces per session is ideal. Bring a mix of garment types across the course: trousers, skirts, blouses, and at least one piece with a zipper. Basic tools (scissors, seam ripper, pins, chalk or fabric marker) should also be brought to each session. A complete preparation guide is provided upon registration.
04
Studio Safety
You will be working on professional-grade industrial equipment throughout the course. All students must follow the step-by-step safety guidance provided by the instructor at all times. A standard liability waiver is signed at the first session.
